LinkedIn is Testing a New ‘Status’ Option to Help Keep Connections Updated on What You’re Up To
LinkedIn is testing a new 'Current status' option which would enable users to share what they're up to at any given time with a one-line summary that would appear in different surfaces within the app.
The 'Current status' field allows for a 75 character summary, which would then be displayed when people hover over your profile within the app.
