Twitter Endorses ‘Honest Ads Act’, Along with Facebook
While Mark Zuckerberg was facing questions from politicians, Twitter announced that it’s endorsing the Honest Ads Act, which is seen as a major stepping stone for the bill.
What does that mean?
The Honest Ads Act was introduced last October, and it basically sets out specific transparency requirements for social media platforms, websites and ad networks which see more than 50 million unique visitors a month.

Could Snapchat be Looking to Switch Back to a Chronological Feed?
Could we be seeing the beginnings of a shift away from algorithms and back to real-time feeds?
Recently, we saw Instagram move to show more recent content in its main feed, in response to user criticism of the algorithm-defined listings
And now, Snapchat’s also reportedly conducting a new test in which some users have been switched back to chronological order, as opposed to their algorithm determined feed.

What Instagram’s Altered Algorithm Really Means for Brands
Instagram has finally heeded years of user complaints, sort of.
Posts on Instagram will now appear in more of a chronological order.
In a March 22 blog post on the Instagram Press site, the company explained that “we’re…making changes to ensure that newer posts are more likely to appear first in the feed.”

New Report Finds Consumers Respond Best to Entertaining Social Ads, Not Discounts
