Facebook to train U.S. businesses on ads after Russia scandal
Facebook disclosed in September that Russians bought ads on its platform in an attempt to divide Americans in the run-up to the 2016 U.S. presidential election
Facebook Inc Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg is kicking off an effort to get U.S. small businesses to spend more on advertising as the image of the social media network's ads have taken a hit for their role in alleged Russian attempts to sway U.S. voters.
Zuckerberg is travelling on Thursday to St. Louis, Missouri, to launch the program, after which Facebook will dispatch teams to 30 U.S. cities next year.

Stand-alone Facebook In-Stream Video Ads Now Available
Facebook started offering advertisers a golden opportunity: to place their ads directly within live and on-demand videos on the platform.
Dubbed “in-stream video ads,” they bring visibility and ROI to a new level.
According to the site, “more than 70 percent of in-stream video ads up to 15 seconds in length are watched to completion — most with sound on.”

3 Key Considerations in Facebook’s Latest News Feed Tests
Facebook recently announced that they’re conducting a test of a new News Feed format which would remove direct Page posts from the main News Feed.
This would mean your main feed would predominantly become updates from friends and family, with posts from Pages you follow available on a separate ‘Explore’ feed.
The key clarification of note here is that Facebook currently has no plans to roll this test out any further than the six nations it’s being tested in.

Facebook’s Testing Out New Resume-Like Option, Similar to LinkedIn
While Facebook’s mission to stomp out Snapchat has been fairly overt, their efforts to take over other social media segments have been less so.
Case in point - their gradual evolution of tools to take on LinkedIn.
This is of less importance for Facebook, of course – Snapchat’s hold on younger users likely poses more of an existential threat than LinkedIn’s 500 million or so professionals.

Facebook Adds More Active Indicators to Prompt Real-Time Interaction
Facebook's looking to add more ways to connect people in real-time, with more updates and indicators to show you when people are active.
The latest variation on this theme was spotted by Mashable this week, with reporter Kerry Flynn noting that there’s a new 'Active' indicator on her profile showing when she’s online.
Not all users are seeing this, but as noted, it’s one of several tools Facebook’s testing out, or has rolled out, to generate more interaction.

Facebook Is Testing Colored Comments to Help Make Your Responses Stand Out
You know what looks really cool? These colored background posts on Facebook.
No doubt you’ve seen these crop up in your News Feed from time to time, and they look cool, right? They’re a bit fun, exciting, something different.
Okay, maybe not – at least to me. These colored posts have always seemed like maybe a step too far, a little too attention seeking.

Testimonials
"Even before Honeyweb came along, I always believed that internet marketing was a key element in any business hence why I tried to make an effort to keep an email subscriber base. I just didn't know how to make attractive newsletters using plain text emails! Then Honeyweb came along and changed all that. They provided me with a template and an easy to use subscriber management system which I could effectively use to reach my customers. Now, my emails look extremely professional and I am always guaranteed sales after I send out the newsletters because people can look and read about all the new products in my store. Also, one feature I really appreciate is the ability of the Honeyweb system to keep track of who is reading my emails, clicking on links, and bouncing off so I am aware of whats going on. I would definitely recommend Honeyweb to all of my friends if they were looking for a Newsletter system!"
