Google Exploit: Canonical Negative SEO
A new negative SEO attack method has been discovered.
What makes this exploit especially bad is that it is virtually impossible to detect the attacker. There is no way to recover if the attacking website is unknown.
So far, Google is remaining silent on how they intend to proceed to close this exploit in how Google ranks and de-ranks web pages.

Google Confirms Algorithm Update Released on April 16th
Google rolled out another broad core algorithm update this week.
It was confirmed on Twitter that this algorithm update was released on Monday, April 16th.
You may recall that Google released a similar algorithm update early last month.

Google Announces Two Major Changes to Image Search
Google officially announced major changes to how image search functions.
The first change is to remove Google’s “view image” button. The second change is to remove the “search by image” button.
The impact to web publishers is expected to be positive and web publishers greeted the news on Twitter with applause.

New Google Search Console Now Available: More Data, More Features
Google has announced that a beta version of the new Search Console, released a few months ago to select users, will now be available to everyone.
The new Search Console will be rolled out gradually, and webmasters will be individually notified when they receive access.
Still in beta, the new Search Console will live side by side with the old version. Users can toggle between them in the navigation menu.
