Facebook Adds New AR Games to Messenger Video Chats
Facebook continues to build on its interactive AR tools, this time through the addition of group games in Messenger video chats.
The option will be available at any time during a video chat, with up to six people able to participate in a game at once.
To try it out for yourself, start a Messenger video chat as normal, then tap the new star icon on screen and select one of the AR games.

Facebook Adds Activity Dashboards in Facebook and Instagram to Help Users Track Time Spent
Facebook has this week officially launched its new activity dashboards in both Facebook and Instagram
Which will help users maintain awareness of the time they’re spending in each app, and could reduce the amount of mindless scrolling.
You can access the new tools within the ‘Settings’ pages on either Facebook or Instagram.

Facebook Adds New Data Security Provisions for Custom Audience Use
Facebook is rolling out some new requirements for Custom Audience use – though they don’t really up the data security element too much.
First off, Facebook will now require advertisers to specify where they obtained their data when uploading a custom audience.
“When uploading a customer file, advertisers will need to indicate whether the information was collected directly from people, provided by partners or a combination of the two.”

Facebook Adds New PayPal Invoicing and Payment Options to Messenger
Facebook continues to add more features to encourage the use of their Marketplace option.
This week, Facebook has announced another integration with PayPal which will enable users to send invoices for items direct through Messenger, streamlining the connection and payment process.
This comes on the back of their recent announcement of PayPal as a peer-to-peer payment option in Messenger.
