Website Performance Testing (Google Analytics)
You wouldn’t pay a salesperson without having some way to measure their success, but that’s exactly how many businesses treat their website. One of the best things about online marketing is you can fairly accurately measure how your marketing spend performs and react quickly with changes to your site or advertising.
Websites enable communities, commerce and productivity to thrive on the Web. Although there are many visual and interactions that play an important role in your website, it is often the content within the page that either perplexes or enthuses your visitor. Ultimately, what you are looking for are conversions that take the visitors and turn them into leads. Is your website effectively doing what you need it to do?
Honeyweb wants you to attract more of the traffic you are looking for, and help you turn more visitors into customers. We utilise Google Analytics to learn which online marketing initiatives are cost effective and see how visitors actually interact with your site. Make informed site design improvements, drive targeted traffic, and increase your conversions and profits.
Honeyweb can implement Google Analytics on your current website in order to establish the following;
- Hit Rate/Visits (The number of visits to your home page).
- Page Views (The number of pages viewed within your website)
- Average Time (The average time spent on your website)
- Bounce Rate (The percentage of hits that leave your home page immediately).
- Leads Generated (The number of leads generated by your website).
Note: While hits are important it's your website's bounce rate that we are most interested in.
What is a bounce rate?
Well let's use a retail shop front as an analogy.
If your hard earned advertising/marketing dollars drove 100 new customers into your shop i.e. they open your front door, that would be call a hit. But now having looked through the front door and not liking what they saw, they turned around and walked straight out again, that would be called a bounce.
So if your website bounce rate was 50%, then that equates to you loosing 50 new customers because your website failed to engage these new customers or was too difficult for them to navigate.
With this information Honeyweb can suggest and then implement changes to vastly improve your current website's bounce rate and new customer acquisitions.

Note: The bounce rate of 20.11%, the internet average is 40.58% with Honeyweb sites averaging well under this.
